Namaste, we are @Soulkadhiotr Welcome to a smoky, soulful, kokan hearted special episode — Kaul Chicken 🔥🍗🌿 As the evening clouds curled around our little farm and the earthy scent of damp soil lingered, we decided to cook something close to our hearts — Kaul Chicken, a traditional clay roof tile chicken cooked on firewood, just the way our elders did. The process began with cleaning the Kaul (earthen roof tile), preparing the fire and gathering fresh local ingredients. The flames crackled, spices sizzled and the air filled with the aroma of garlic, onions, and homemade masala — slow-cooked over wood fire along with juicy chicken with that unmatched, rustic flavour. This isn’t just kaul chicken. It’s a memory — of homely village kitchens, of laughter around the chulha, of hands working together in rhythm with nature. Every stir, every pinch of spice, carried a bit of tradition. The Kaul held the heat, the chicken absorbed the spices — and when it was finally ready, it wasn’t just food, it was an experience. Served on banana leaf with salad, this was our way of serving kaul chicken. ❤️🌾
